Fort Bliss is a spacious four bedroom property in Galle Fort, SRI LANKA, elegantly furnished and built in harmony with the old Dutch architecture, located conveniently a few yards from the famous ramparts. 

 

The ground floor consists of a spacious living and dining area open to the rear courtyard/garden behind with an entrance facing the Rampart road (adjoining the Ramparts), one bed room opening to a narrow strip of garden and a spacious pantry area with fitted cupboards. Dine in the living room is furnished with a ten seater table or out on the sit out verandah. The interiors at Fort Bliss are spacious, airy and well equipped.  There is a medium sized landscaped rear garden area with a sit out verandah, surrounded by a high parapet wall which provides much privacy with a high wooden gate for the entrance.

 

The upper floor consists of three spacious bed rooms (including a master bed room). The Master Bedroom opens out to a small sitting area with a long balcony overlooking the Ramparts and the sea.  The other two rooms open out to a balcony and sea views from one side.  All bedrooms are equipped with comfortable en-suite bathrooms with show cubicles, furnished with antique twin or double beds, cupboard and a work desk.  The polished cement floors in the rooms are given a hint of colour and vary in each of the rooms. 

 

The Master Bedroom is furnished with an antique king size four poster-bed and the other two rooms located upstairs have antique double beds.  The room downstairs is furnished with two twin beds

 

The villa is available for rent by the room or the full house and can accommodate up to eight guests.
